We believe ministries is both to one another and to the outside world in its spiritual and physical needs. And therefore we have developed ministries of small group and prayer fellowships, along with outreach locally and abroad. Below are some Scripture verses which underline the basis of this internal and external approach to ministry.

Building strong local fellowship and good internal church ministries:

Acts 2:42: “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of the bread and the prayers…”

John 13:35 (The Upper Room Discourse): “By this shall men know you are my disciples, by the love you have one for another.”

Psalm 133:1:”Behold, how pleasant and how good it is for brothers and sisters to dwell together in unity!”

And for ministries that reach the broader community outside our church and into all parts of the world:

Matthew 28:19-20 (The Great Commission): “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age.”

Isaiah 60:3: “Nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”

We offer this prayer to God for our church family to be a healing member of the larger human family:

O God, you made us in your own image, and you have redeemed us through Jesus your Son: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.  –(2019 BCP-Prayer For the Human Family)
