Moving Day-No Sunday school

After 6 months of waiting, planning, renovations, and work, we are finally ready to move into our new building!

Most of the large, bulky, and heavy items will be moved on Saturday, and so we are hoping Sunday will be a simple move.

This Sunday we will meet for the last time at the Valley St. building, which has been a blessing to our church for some time. There is no Sunday school this Sunday. The doors of the church will open at 9:00 for people to come by and pack their classrooms up, and help box some final items.

We will stop at 10:15 to prepare for Holy Communion. After Holy Communion, around 12:00, we will have a Subway luncheon, and then we will load up all the final itemss from the building and take it over to our new building.

Childcare will be provided. A few ladies will carpool, with our big van and some cars, the children to our new church and will occupy them there as we move and clean out the older building.

You might want to dress comfortably for the move. We are not anticipating we will take the whole afternoon, and if you can stay for even one hour to help, this will be beneficial.

Also, after the Holy Communion, we will have a Procession to the outside parking lot, in order to pray some prayers of thanksgiving for God providing us the Valley St. building, and then leading us to our new home!

Please join us, as we move together as a church and do the Lord’s work on the Lord’s day.
