Parish supports purchase of building!

For all members or frequent guests of Christ our Hope, it is our pleasure to announce that the parish has voted in support for the purchase of this building!

This was truly the last step of this purchasing process, and the next step is closing on the purchase, once we finish with inspections this week.

As we have reported in past blogs and announcements, we truly believe this building/property is a gift from God, and we are grateful for this provision, and excited for what the future holds for our parish.

I see this as a great accomplishment of your faith. You built up this building fund throughout the years, invested wisely, and are now able to purchase your own property without debt. This is a wonderful achievement, and I want to praise you for it, as I praise God for how he sustained you and lead you through the years.

There will be more to speak about concerning the building and move in the months to come, but for now, the next month or two should be fairly quiet concerning the building. We are going to start developing teams to help desing the interior of the sanctuary, and to help care for the building/property. But, we will likely be focusing more on renovations, and getting the building prepared for the winter months and ready for us by the springtime.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask any of the Vestry or me. I am available to speak to anyone about anything concerning this whole process; and look forward to co-laboring with you all together in the Lord’s harvest.

Thank you for your patience during this time, as much of your time and energy has been asked for. And I could not thank the Vestry and officers and advisors and our dear bishops enough for all the time, sweat, and prayer they spent in the last 2 months, and in the months and years prior to making this blessing possible. I hope that we can grow closer together as we follow our Lord to these truly green pastures, and I pray we will find in this new place, rivers of living water flowing from our Holy Communion.

May the Lord bless you all, this day and always,
